1. Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Service (Terms) are a legal agreement between you and Divine Bride (we, us, our). By accessing this website, submitting an enquiry, booking a bridal trial, or confirming bridal hair services for your wedding day, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the website or book services. Where you are booking on behalf of another person (for example, a bride booking for a bridal party), you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for the group in relation to the booking.

Minimum age: you must be at least 16 years old to use enquiry forms on this website. If you are under 18 and wish to book services, a parent or legal guardian must make the booking and accept these Terms.

2. Service description and scope

Divine Bride provides bridal hairstyling services, including but not limited to: bridal hair trials and consultations, wedding day hairstyling for the bride, and optional hairstyling for members of the bridal party (such as bridesmaids and close family) where agreed in writing.

We specialise in relaxed, modern wedding hairstyles designed to last comfortably through the day and photograph beautifully. Services are available in Chelmsford, Essex and surrounding areas, including travel across Greater London, Hertfordshire, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and destination weddings by arrangement.

What is not included unless agreed in writing: hair colouring, cutting, chemical treatments, extension supply, accessory supply, and make-up services. If you request coordination with other suppliers (such as photographers or make-up artists), this is a courtesy only and does not create responsibility for their performance.

We may decline requests that cannot reasonably be delivered due to hair condition, time constraints, venue limitations, safety concerns, or if a requested style is unsuitable for your hair type or comfort. In these cases, we will suggest alternatives designed to achieve a similar feel within realistic limits.

3. Bookings, deposits, and payment terms

A booking is only confirmed once you have received written confirmation from Divine Bride. Enquiries alone do not reserve dates. For peak wedding dates in Essex and London, availability can change quickly.

Deposits: We may require a booking fee or deposit to reserve your wedding date. Where a deposit is taken, it is typically non-refundable because it secures a date that could otherwise be booked by another client. The amount and due date will be stated clearly at the point of booking.

Final balance: The remaining balance is due by the date stated on your booking confirmation. If payment is not received by the due date, we may treat the booking as cancelled and release the date, while still applying any applicable cancellation fees outlined in these Terms.

Pricing: Package pricing and add-ons are shown on the Pricing page and may be updated from time to time. Your booking confirmation will state the agreed services and the price applicable to your booking at that time.

Travel costs: Travel fees may apply depending on location, start time, and logistics. Travel fees (where applicable) will be quoted before confirmation and must be paid as part of your booking.

Receipts and records: You are responsible for keeping your booking confirmation and any relevant emails as a record of agreed services.

Important for planning

Wedding morning timings are agreed based on the information you provide. If ceremony time, venue, number of people, or prep location changes, please let us know as soon as possible so the schedule and travel plan can be reviewed.

4. Bridal trials and consultations

Bridal trials are designed to explore styles, refine details (such as parting, face framing and accessories), and assess comfort and longevity for your wedding day. Trials typically take place in or near Chelmsford, Essex, unless otherwise agreed.

To get the best from your trial, you agree to provide accurate information about your hair, including previous treatments (colouring, extensions, keratin, bleaching), current condition, and any sensitivities to products or heat styling.

Trial outcomes: A trial does not guarantee that every inspiration image is achievable. Where hair type, density, length, or weather conditions affect the outcome, we will recommend adjustments that preserve the overall vibe while improving hold and wearability.

Accessories and veils: If you plan to wear a veil or hair accessory, bring it to your trial where possible. If it is not available, we will suggest placement and confirm once the accessory is provided.

Patch testing and allergies: Hair styling products are cosmetic and can rarely cause irritation. If you have known allergies or a reactive scalp, you must disclose this before the trial and wedding day. Where needed, we may ask you to provide your own suitable products.

5. Travel, location, and on-the-day requirements

Divine Bride is based at 23 Wells Street, Chelmsford, Essex, CM1 1HX and provides on-location bridal hair services across Essex and other agreed regions. Travel arrangements are confirmed as part of your booking.

Access and parking: You are responsible for ensuring reasonable access to the preparation location and providing relevant details such as parking instructions, access codes, and any loading restrictions. If parking charges apply, you agree to cover those costs.

Working space: You agree to provide a safe, clean space with a chair, good lighting (natural light is ideal), and access to power. If the environment is unsuitable (for example, unsafe conditions, insufficient light, or lack of power), we will do our best to proceed safely, but results and timing may be affected.

Timing and delays: We build schedules to keep your wedding morning calm. You agree to have hair clean and prepared as advised, and to ensure all parties are ready at their allocated time. If delays are caused by late arrivals, changes to the number of services, or altered conditions, we may need to simplify styles or adjust finishing to protect the overall schedule.

Destination weddings: For weddings outside the standard service area, additional travel and accommodation costs may apply. These costs will be agreed in writing before confirmation.

6. Changes, cancellations, and rescheduling

We understand weddings can change. The earlier you communicate changes, the more options we have to keep plans smooth.

Client-initiated changes: If you change your wedding date, venue, start time, or the number of people to be styled, we will confirm whether we can accommodate the change. If we can, we will update your booking in writing. If we cannot, the change may be treated as a cancellation of the original booking.

Client cancellations: Deposits and booking fees are typically non-refundable. Depending on how close the cancellation is to the wedding date, additional fees may be due to reflect lost work and the likelihood of rebooking the date. Any specific cancellation schedule will be provided in your booking confirmation and will apply to your booking.

Rescheduling trials: If you need to reschedule a trial, please provide as much notice as possible. We will do our best to offer an alternative appointment, subject to availability.

Our cancellation: If we must cancel due to serious illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control, we will notify you as soon as possible and, where feasible, help you find a suitable alternative stylist. If we cannot deliver the service, any amounts paid for the undelivered service will be refunded. This does not include costs you incur with other suppliers.

Force majeure: We are not liable for delays or failure to perform where caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, road closures, public transport disruption, government restrictions, or other emergencies. Where possible, we will work with you to find a practical solution.
